Rodney Mann has taken his first ever Showdown in O'Town after bringing his B-Game to the floor against Kyle Albright and Josh Palmer, who claimed to be bringing his A Game, only to change his mind and state that he was in fact only bringing 'a' game. 9 pts to Rodney, 7 for Kyle and 5 for Palmer, let's see those results::::::

A FiRST TiME WiNNER last night at Showdown, Terrence Scott switch fs bigspinned his way to victory and will now wear the crown until next week's Showdown. Collin "Collywood" Williams was also a first-time finalist and nearly edged Terrence out after handing current Showdown leader, TJ Leighton a crushing and contreversial loss - Was he at T? Or was he at A? We'll never know - Also moving up some points was Jessie Allen.

With news of our first-ever Video Skate Camp coming out yesterday, I felt it appropriate to make a video with some of the footage I had been holding on to. I tried something new with the video, so without further ado, here is the new full-HD OSP video::::::::::::::::::::::::

The time has come for the first ever VIDEO SKATE CAMP!

The camp will be held every Thursday night for a month. Each class will focus on different subjects starting with camera basics moving on through to techniques specific to skateboard videography, and further on into some post-production tips and tricks (including how to render a high-quality looking clip).

A king-of-the-road checklist style video will be made by participants as a sort of final examination - A screening will be held to show off everyone's work. (If you are unfamiliar with King of the Road, Youtube it!)

Our first class will have a guest teacher in Phil Angers who is a genius behind the lens. He will be teaching basic DSLR settings and how to use it to shoot skate videos. We will also be covering regular video cameras as well.

Cost is only a one-time $25 fee and it covers the entire month's worth of classes and gets you a OSP t-shirt.

Showdown in O'Town sees a new winner tonight with Chris Walsh taking home first place followed swiftly by an unfimilar face for a final, Rodney. Third place is a tie between Kyle and TJ Leighton

The day has come! The first OSP Skate Camp will be going down next week, Monday through Friday. This camp is the first of two to be offered this summer. This camp is for skaters aged 12-18, there will be another held in August for skaters aged 9-12.


Sign up can be done at the Oromocto Skate Park or by contacting Rodney or Kyle through various means.
